Do I get a certificate after completing a class?

Yes, we issue a Certificate of Completion when you finish a class with us! If you are with Gmail, please check that your certificate hasn’t been filtered to your Spam/Junk folder. See the sample below.

I booked for multiple levels. When do I complete the other levels?

You will automatically be allocated to the next available date unless specified otherwise in “Special Requests” when you booked with us. Usually, this is the same day you booked.

For example, if you booked for Level 1, 2 and 3 on August 22nd, you will complete Level 1 in the morning and Level 2 in the afternoon. You will then have to come back and complete Level 3.

Please note, Level 3 is run on the last Saturday of the month at 2 pm.

Do you offer nationally certified training (SITHFAB005 / SITHFAB204)?

The short answer is no, but it is really a lot more complicated than that.

We have purposely chosen to avoid national certification for a number of reasons but the biggest reason why we avoid “Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee” SITHFAB005 (formerly SITHFAB204) is because the standards that are taught by most Registered Training Organisations are often outdated and irrelevant to today’s industry. We see ourselves as at the forefront of specialty coffee training and want to teach you the best modern practices that are being utilised in cafes today.

Upon completion of our courses, you will receive a Certificate of Completion which is as good as any national certification – view it as a foot in the door into the industry. Many students over the last 7 years who have been through our doors can attest to this fact. Have a look at some of our most distinguished graduates.
